The incident was first reported by Ian Hathaway (@ianhathaway12) at the Sheffield Court Condominiums, located at 624 Boston Post Road East, in the afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 6.

After making an initial entry into the building, authorities determined an official hazmat situation with "unknown chemicals involved," Hathaway said. Residents were being told to leave the area as a result.

Crews did find one person inside the apartment complex alongside chemicals, WHDH reports citing Marlborough Fire. The individual was taken to a local hospital for treatment. It is unknown whether they got sick from the chemicals or not, the outlet said.
